A film starring Hugh Jackman and Christian bale was only ever going to be good given their illustrious careers. The characters, the twists and turns, the rivalries and the relationships all of which are very mysterious and will only truly make sense when you... watch closely.

You may experience an odd sensation of bewilderment for the majority of the films duration as it is only in the final few tricks (30 mins) where all will be revealed and become clear allowing you to realise how beautiful the storytelling really was. 

It is quite ironic that this is a film about 2 magicians tussling back and fourth when the real magic is conjured by the writers and directors for executing a perfectly written script that strings us along on a journey where we see tricks and clues slowly unravelling the storyline in anticipation for the grand finale where this film really comes full circle and leaves nothing up to the imagination.

The one and only Black Panther - Wakanda forever. 

This movie has cemented its place in the history books as one of the all time great superhero films or just an awe-inspiring film that anyone could draw inspiration from. Marvel studios showing us an in-depth view of T'challa juggling the pressures of being a prince to a whole nation and a superhero with good morals. He has to battle with those who feel avenged and choose too follow the devil on there shoulder. This movie is packed with twists and turns never letting on to how the movie will end.

This is an outstandingly well thought out movie with a hilarious foundation and a well developed storyline to keep us indulged. Writers defiantly put emphasis on the viewers amusement by showing us how 2 very different con-men who are both coincidently trying to woo the same woman, but with twists and turns throughout the movie and a finale that leaves you questioning your existence.

A movie with many different underlying storylines and meanings, the main characters living 2 completely different lives yet are drawn towards each others company as they are more similar than they are willing to admit. An emotional scene towards the end of the film injects the movie full of purpose and gives us as the viewer a great understanding of what this movie that is based on a real life story is about.

With it being based on a real life story it gives us a more genuine connection to what the character is going through. quite relatable to many peoples times during the pandemic looking at it form a modern day perspective.

This film is so deeply woven with contrasting storylines and unclosed conclusions on a scene to scene basis. Ironically i suppose you could say it is deceptive, it starts out showing us the life of a antique specialist living out his life. Enchanted by a mysterious customer that has consumed his day to day routines and grows into his desire to put a pin in this dwelling curiosity of a woman who peaks his interest, from this everything unravels and the plot unwinds itself. The way the story unfolds certainly keep us on our toes, it keeps us guessing. It keeps our curiosity at one with the screen.

A Suspenseful and Enthralling experience with a eerie tone displayed in a subtle manner, this film has multiple viewpoints in which each viewer could interpret the right from the wrong and moral from the immoral by witnessing the events that take place - with it all leading the spectacle to a close that lingers an almost distasteful scent as i wish the ending was somewhat more sweet.

I think the real magic would reveal itself when going back to watch the movie for a 2nd time through a new pair eyes, a gain new understanding from a different perspective for what you really think is taking place. 

The name may ring a bell, and for good reason. 

This quite outrageous and emphatic movie is defiantly one to admire. It will have no trouble keeping you engaged from minute one. This effect enhanced by its comedic take on some horrifically gorey scenes that ooze class from a choreographic standpoint. This film really does belong in a category of its own, as on paper tis a regular action thriller movie, but the unique way in which this was shot and displayed on our screens really does leave it as a stand alone piece of art (imagine a mathematician on mushrooms spending weeks on-end fine tuning each last detail of there golden art piece). In other words the director has successfully made a movie that is clearly played out in a chronological order with flashbacks for context, giving us a great connection to the storyline as if we were having a comic book read to us with our eyes closed letting out imagination run wild, all the while leaving us to string together slight hints left throughout and trying to figure out where they could fit in. Such a fun watch.

As it was Based on a true events, to me it seems perfectly depicted as to how i imagine things would have have gone at the time, The moral of the story is that the truth never lies and that self integrity and having true morals is the only foundations upon which you can make a positive change in this world, my biggest take away from this was, don't believe EVERYTHING you see and don't listen to EVERYTHING that you hear ear. The end scene in which he says " do me a favour and go and fish somewhere else" seemed very telling of the honest and honourable mentality these charchotors portrayed the real lives of the people in this story 

This movie seems to be all over the place however its perfectly written script and brilliant acting makes it easy enough to be able to tie everything together in our minds, following the lives and relationships between each other (always with a phone call on the horizon - if you watch it you'll get it).

A love story shown in a classy, funny and honest but discreet manner as is not put bluntly on the screen like most love story's, but you know your watching a connection between 2 souls for that were made for each other. Heart warming film full of relatable moments that make the movie feel so realistic.

Blood diamond is a powerful movie giving us a very raw insight of how some people really do live and the limited ways they can play the cards dealt to them. None of us can choose where or when we are born nor the individuals that raise us, so is to only hope that we fall into the arms of the good and healthy, staying far from the evil that presents itself every single day in many different ways.

The acting on show is really special, they make us feel emotionally immersed into the struggles many face as the powers above pursue their own selfish endeavours in the quest of control at the cost of the people. The main characters are acting as if they were really living there roles an show perfectly how easy it is for someone to be manipulated and moulded into a evil person and how hard it can be to stay good. 

Ben Affleck and Rosamund pike with some of the greatest acting you might ever see, the film is based on the lives of 2 very different people and how relationships can blossom and rot, all In one fell swoop. This film at first may seem like its created upon a simplistic template but the few main characters in question are so enthralling and captivating throughout the entirety of the film so any preconceived notion goes out the window once the movie starts unraveling all its secrets. They’re relationship is mysterious and complex and reveals more and more throughout the film, leading us deeply invested into the movie and the plot. The sadistic tone that the movie carries throughout really does keep you on the edge of your seat because this is defiantly a thriller full of enriched scenes that really show who these characters are in there totality. Perfect scripting and writing that so beautifully concludes with the final few scenes that will likely leave you stunned at how complex of a spectacle what you just saw was.
